Great first day back at work today.
My client is an amazing young lady with a lot of passion and natural talent.
Last year she excelled so much that we are now starting to plan an exhibition of her work in local galleries around the North Coast.
We had so much fun today. Part of what we did was to experiment with my I pad using the photo settings. She loved it.
Here are some photos from today that she took.
2014 was a very exciting year for me. I was named as a finalists in the Lethbridge and Clayton UTZ Art Awards with two of my works. It was an honour to be recognised at this level.
I also started a photography mentoring service for people with disabilities. You could not ask for anything more rewarding than a job where you are teaching your passion to such amazing people.
I also received confirmation for a solo exhibition this year in May which will be held at the Northern Rivers Community Gallery in Ballina. I am looking forward to this and will keep you updated on my progress.
Here are just a few photos from a session with a client last year.

I would love to see you there!
I have recently started mentoring people with disabilities in photography. I am very excited about being able to share my passion with these amazing young adults.
On Friday I went with one of my clients to pick up a camera for her. She has cerebral palsy and limited mobility. She also purchased a wireless shutter control and camera mount for her chair so she can move it herself and be able to press the shutter easily. Later that night she texted me to thank me and tell me she has been taken photos all afternoon. It was an amazing feeling receiving that text. I am so excited about working with her and my other clients.
I recently spent the weekend in Coffs Harbour at a photography conference with my camera club in Lismore. I thoroughly enjoyed meeting so many people that share the same passion as I do and of course being with my camera club friends. We have so much fun together.
It was a wonderful weekend and the guest speakers were very inspiring with years of experience. I learnt a lot and came away with new ways of looking at photography.
I feel photography is a world of its own and you are always experimenting and learning new things.
